Aakhri Baazi is a 1989 Indian action film directed by Ashim Samanta and starring Shatrughan Sinha, Moushumi Chatterjee, and Govinda in the lead roles. The film follows the story of Amar Kapoor (played by Shatrughan Sinha), a police inspector who is on a mission to bring down a notorious gangster named Jagmohan Prasad (played by Kader Khan). Prasad is involved in a range of illegal activities including drug trafficking, smuggling, and murder.

Akhri Baazi begins with the introduction of the main characters, and we see Jagmohan Prasad and his men executing a heist. During the heist, they end up killing a police officer, and Amar Kapoor, who happens to be at the scene, makes a failed attempt to apprehend them. Following this, Amar is suspended from his job but is determined to bring Jagmohan Prasad to justice.

Throughout the film, Amar Kapoor goes through various ups and downs and has to face multiple obstacles in his quest to bring down Jagmohan Prasad. Along the way, he receives help from his love interest Rekha (played by Moushumi Chatterjee) and his sidekick, Johnny (played by Govinda).

As the film progresses, we see Amar Kapoor and his team getting closer to capturing Jagmohan Prasad. However, things take a dramatic turn when Amar's sister is kidnapped by Prasad's men. The climax of the film features a thrilling action sequence as Amar Kapoor takes on Jagmohan's men to rescue his sister and bring Prasad to justice.

The film has all the elements of a typical Bollywood entertainer – action, romance, drama, and music. The action sequences are well choreographed, and the film has a fast-paced narrative that keeps the audience engaged. The music by Bappi Lahiri is a highlight of the film, with songs like "Bahut Jatate Ho Chah Humse" and "Na Na Na Karte Karte" becoming popular hits.

Performance-wise, Shatrughan Sinha delivers a solid performance as Inspector Amar Kapoor. He essays the role of a tough cop with conviction, and his on-screen chemistry with Moushumi Chatterjee is noteworthy. Moushumi Chatterjee is convincing as the love interest of Shatrughan Sinha, providing emotional support to him, and has a few moments to shine in the film. Govinda's role is relatively small, but he does manage to leave an impact with his comic timing.

Overall, Aakhri Baazi is a must-watch for fans of action films from the '80s. The film has all the right ingredients to keep the audience engaged from start to finish, with the added bonus of some catchy music. The film is a reminder of the era of Bollywood filmmaking that focused on pure entertainment, and is a recommendation for those looking for a fun, action-packed watch.
