Abohomaan captures the story of Aniket who is one of the best filmmakers in Bengal, India. Aniket falls in love with Deepti, an actress, and they get married. With the love so intense, Deepti sacrifices her career for the sake of Abohomaan and their son, Aprati. The plot changes when Abohomaan auditions Shikha who has an uncanny resemblance with Deepti at her young age. Deepti coaches her so much that she becomes a reflection of Deepti at her young age, which makes Aniket fall for Shikha despite being almost the same age as his son. As the movie unravels, this brings trouble and sadness to the family.
