After the Dark is set in Jakarta in an international school. The philosophy teacher of this school challenges his whole class, a total of twenty students, to a final "thought experiment." This experiment places them in a world where there has been a nuclear apocalypse. It is up to his twenty students to determine which of them will take shelter underground and be left with the responsibility of recreating the human race.

Soon students begin to turn on each other and this "experiment" becomes deadlier by the minute, and soon the line between reality and theory become blurred. This film is great for adults and teens, but is not recommended for young children.
