Watch And God Created Woman

And God Created Woman was a foreign film that challenged most conventional ideas about sex and sexuality for woman. The film was directed by Roger Vadim and written by Roger Vadim and Raoul Levy. The film takes place in the beautiful, sunny town of St. Tropez. Juliette (Brigitte Bardot) is an eighteen year old orphan living with foster parents who are appalled by her blatant flaunting of her overripe sexuality. She parades naked whenever she feels, walks around barefoot, and shuns the social constraints often inflicted by those around her. Her flagrant sexual presence alone proves she is more experienced and knowledgeable than other kids her age. This bravado, however, often catches her in the most inopportune situations while simultaneously attracting the attention of men all around her. One of her suitors is the wealthy, although elderly, Éric Carradine (Curd Jürgens). A successful businessman, his plans to build a local casino are blocked by a small shipyard owned by the rival Tardieu family. Despite his age, he falls completely for Juliette and tries to orchestrate a marriage bargain to prevent her from being sent far away. The second is Antoine Tardieu (Christian Marquand). He is the main object of Juliette's affections, but his intentions towards her are less than honorable. He is quick to leave town without her and abandons Carradine's pleas to marry her. Antoine's younger brother, Michel (Jean-Louis Trintignant), is in love with Juliette and, when his brother leaves, proposes marriage when Juliette's guardians threaten to send her back to the orphanage. Despite her feeling for his older brother, she accepts. It is a simple start based on unrequited lover, but just as it seems Juliette could come to actually care for Michel almost as much as he cares for her, Antoine returns home for good, seriously testing Juliette and her relationships.
