The two screenwriters have had success in most areas of their life. But they're been frustrated by an inability to conceive. The couple decide to try fertility treatments. Everything seems to be working perfectly, and Roxy soon gives birth to baby Miranda. The couple soon face tragedy after Miranda appears to come down with the flu. It turns out that they contracted AIDs during the fertility treatment. Mother, father and daughter are all infected with the virus. As a family, they try to cope with a tragic situation.
