Adam Sandler plays Dave Buznik, a powerful executive bent on climbing the corporate ladder when he is derailed by a trumped up charge stemming from an airline incident and is sentenced to attend anger management classes. His instructor is none other than Buddy Rydell, who was a major cause of the airline melee, played by Jack Nicholson. The pair go through a roller coaster of emotions together as the 'therapy' continues to get wilder and more hilarious as the plot thickens. In one failed attempt after another, Nicholson's character attempts to help his patient by conducting a series of tests and challenges designed to help Sandler grow as a human being. Unfortunately, with each new trial the patient becomes more enraged and ready to go to blows with his seemingly incompetent therapist. By the end of the court ordered anger management, Buznik is faced with the possibility of losing his job, his relationship, and his sanity.
