Watch Anita

Anita is a 1967 Indian film. The film is a suspense-thriller tale about a young woman named Anita who commits suicide. Rai Khosia directed the film, and Manoj Kumar and Sadhana star in the leading roles. Anita is in love with a young man named Neeraj. Anita’s father is not happy with her choice for a husband. He prefers another man named Anil Sharma to Neeraj. He learns that she has committed suicide, but he is convinced that something sinister has happened. He begins seeing Anita in various places and odd circumstances, or at least he thinks that it is her. This is a classic thriller film similar to an old-school film noir film. It is full of intrigue and surprises. The cinematography and scenery are beautiful. Kuma and Sadhana are excellent in their roles as Neeraj and Anita.
