This is an action packed western movie about a town without any law. The James Gang has picked up a wounded man and taken him to their destination. It is a town that is not part of Oklahoma, and it is not under the authority of the law. When Sheriff Rowley arrives, he only wants to pick up his brother who was brought in by the James Gang. He has no other quarrel with anyone in the town.

The Sheriff must wait for his brother to heal well enough to travel. This becomes an issue for more outlaws as they arrive and cause trouble.
