Kolkata a city of art, literature poetry and a city of violence. Violence which lurks in the dark alleys of the city's under belly. Violence which resounds in the city's chequered past. A past which can catch up with you. And then what do you have? You have three cops seeking the truths. You have two journalists seeking a story. You have one poet seeking revenge. In short you have "Baishey Srabon". An ex-cop is called in to solve the mysterious serial murders, the only evidence being the verses from the Bengali poetry being left next to the victims.
