Bending the Rules is a production of World Wrestling Entertainment and stars one of its most popular wrestlers. Adam Copeland, better known as "Edge" to WWE fans, stars as tough New Orleans cop Nick Blades. On trial for corruption, his main nemesis is Assistant District Attorney Theo Gold, played by Jamie Kennedy. However, along the way the two uncover information about a criminal plot and are forced to team up in order to survive. With a dangerous killer on the loose, both Blades and Gold come to rely on each other's skills and abilities while on the killer's trail. Also starring Jessica Walter as Lena Gold, Jennifer Esposito as Officer Garcia and Alicia Witt as Rosalyn Wohl, the movie incorporates an ensemble cast into a fast-paced story. Filmed entirely on location in Louisiana's Jefferson Parish and New Orleans, the film is rated PG-13 for some violence and a sexual reference, yet is classified as a comedy-adventure along the lines of various buddy movies in this genre. Released in March 2012 to a limited number of theaters for a short time, it's now available on DVD. For fans of action-adventure movies and the WWE, this movie may prove to be entertaining.
