Beverly Hills Vamp from 1989 is a horror-comedy movie that tells the story of a young and aspiring musician, Dean, who moves to Los Angeles to become a famous rockstar. However, his plans are drastically changed when he gets bit by a seductive vampire named Mona, played by legendary Swedish actress Britt Ekland. The story begins with Dean, played by Eddie Deezen, arriving in Los Angeles with his guitar and big dreams. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned, and he ends up working as a waiter in a posh restaurant where he meets Mona, a beautiful and intriguing woman who takes a liking to him. Mona's advances towards Dean become more and more obvious, and soon he realizes that she is a vampire.

As the story progresses, Dean falls under Mona's spell and joins her group of vampire friends who all live in a luxurious mansion in Beverly Hills. They are all wealthy, famous, and immortal, and they spend their days partying, drinking, and seducing humans. However, things take a turn for the worse when Mona's archenemy, Dr. Van Helsing's great-grandson, played by Tim Conway Jr., shows up and starts to hunt down the vampires.

As the tension rises, Dean must choose whether to join Mona and her group of vampires or help Van Helsing's great-grandson take them down. Along the way, he meets a quirky cast of characters, including a pizza delivery man who does martial arts, a struggling actress, and a hilarious police officer played by Tim Conway Sr.

The movie boasts a well-written script that balances the horror and comedy elements perfectly. The humor is witty, and the horror is not too gory, making it a perfect watch for audiences who like a good laugh and a few scares. The special effects used in the movie are also impressive, considering it was made in 1989.

One of the best things about Beverly Hills Vamp is the performances of its cast. Britt Ekland is perfect as Mona, the seductive and dangerous vampire. She is sexy, charming, and a little bit crazy, making her the perfect villain. Eddie Deezen is also excellent as Dean, the naive musician who gets caught up in Mona's world. He is easily relatable, and audiences can't help but root for him throughout the movie.

The supporting cast is also noteworthy, with Tim Conway Jr. stealing the show as Van Helsing's great-grandson. He is hilarious and brings a lot of energy to his role. Tim Conway Sr. is also great as the bumbling police officer who tries to solve the case of the missing people in Beverly Hills.

Overall, Beverly Hills Vamp is a fun and entertaining movie that is perfect for horror-comedy fans. It's not too scary, and it's not too funny, striking the perfect balance between the two genres. The script is well-written, the special effects are impressive, and the cast delivers excellent performances.
