A Russian woman finds herself pregnant after having sexual relations with an American. She decides that she wants her child to know both of its parents and sets sail to the United States to find the father. Along the way, she remembers all of the trials that she had as a young girl growing up in Russia. It was a life filled with great trials and tribulations. The only thing she hopes is that her child will not live the same type of life. When she finally tracks down the errant father, he has already found another woman and he tries to push the pregnant woman off on one of his friends.
