Bon Cop, Bad Cop is a thriller with comical undertones that was filmed on location in Canada. It was directed by Eric Canuel, produced by Kevin Tierney and distributed by Alliance Atlantis Vivafilm. The all-star cast includes: Colm Feore, Patrick Huard, Michel Beaudry, Patrice Bélanger and Sarain Boylan. Benoit Brisset was a successful hockey executive, until he was found murdered and hanging from the Ontario-Quebec border road sign. Because of the location both of the Canadian provinces had to dispatch law enforcement out to the scene. Neither province is sure who should be in charge of the case, so they decided to work on solving the case together. Both provinces pick out one of their best men from their forces, the problem is they are total polar opposites. French speaking David Bouchard is from Quebec and he believes that rules are made to be broken, especially when it comes to apprehending a suspect. English speaking Martin Ward is all work and no play; especially when it comes to apprehending a suspect. After a slight mishap on their part, their first suspect winds up dead and now they have a promising lead on a new suspect. Not only do they find an illegal drug operation but they also discover another dead body. This time it was a former hockey team owner and minutes into that investigation they get a phone call notifying them that another body has been found in Toronto. The only thing they know is that every corpse is related to hockey, but upon closer inspection of the body they find another clue. Each victim is tattooed and in the tattoo there is a clue to who the next victim will be. Putting aside their differences both Bouchard and Ward realize not only do they have to find the killer, but they have to find the next targeted victim before it is too late.
