Bond of Silence is a film based on a true story involving a murder and redemption. A well respected lawyer and his wife live in an idyllic community. A party occurs next door to their home, involving loud teenagers. The lawyer goes over to quiet the group down, only to end up being killed. Silence envelopes the town and it is some time before the killer is identified, a popular teenage boy. The widow ends up comforting the killer, leading to a trial that is more about redemption and compassion under the worst of circumstances than anything else. The movie is a story of hope.
