"Brighton Beach Memoirs" (1986) is a film adaptation of the play by Neil Simon. It's set in 1930's Brooklyn and is a coming-of-age story about Eugene Morris Jerome, a Jewish boy. He has to deal with such matters as a large family and his own sexual awakening. Like the play, the film was known for breaking the fourth wall, as Eugene would direct some of commentary to the camera.
