Bullet to the Head, a film that debuted at film festivals in November of 2012, stars Sylvester Stallone and is based on a French graphic novel. An old-fashioned action movie, the film is set to debut to the public in February, 2013. The plot of Bullet to the Head can be summed up simply by the tagline on the movie posters, "Revenge Never Gets Old." Sylvester Stallone plays international hitman Jimmy Bobo, and his reluctant partner in this plot is New York Police Detective Taylor Kwan, played by Sung Khan. Both men realize they have the same objective, to bring down the man responsible for killing their partners, and that alone they're more likely to get killed than to get their man. So the cop and the criminal have to join forces and head down to the deep south of New Orleans (where the film was shot) in pursuit of vengeance and gunplay. Once they arrive in the city, Jimmy and Sung have to shoot, punch and car chase their way through the New Orleans underground of crime. Along the way they uncover a criminal conspiracy and a huge amount of money being made. Despite the sheer power and the sort of money that can buy governments that stands up against them though, these tough guys lock, load and get the job done in a resurrection of classic action movie archetypes. Bullet to the Head runs for 91 minutes at the final cut, and it was made with a budget of $55 million dollars. In addition to Stallone and Khan, the film also stars Jason Momoa, along with Christian Slater to add a little extra star power to the movie. With half a dozen film studios involved, from After Dark films to Dark Castle Entertainment.
