Watch Burglar

Whoopi Goldberg is the star of the movie Burglar. She plays the part of Bernie. This movie is based on the premise of a former cat burglar trying to turn her life around. In her quest to stay away from burglary a policeman begins blackmailing her. Due to this she was forced into doing another robbery. This film combines comedy, drama and action. Bernice is blackmailed into doing another robbery. From robbery she becomes part of a murder. She discovered a murder taking place while trying to rob the jewels. Eventually, she becomes a prime suspect for the murder. In the film she is shown trying to find a way to extract herself from trouble that was unexpected. The policemen assigned to the case are not helping to catch the murderer. This leaves Bernice to try to find the murderer with her friend. Bernice needs to solve this case or she will end up in jail.

The surrounding cast of the movie is stellar. John Goodman, was in the beginning portion of his career. The role he played portrays him as one of the stupid cops in the film, detective Nyswander. The film also showcases Bobcat Goldhwait as Carl Hefler. He plays Bernice's friend in the film. He pairs up with Bernice when she is trying to find the real perp. They are trying to free her as a major suspect in a murder. She happened to be in the closet when the murder took place.

Leslie Ann Warren plays Dr. Cynthia Sheldrake, a dentist. She plays the character that wants Bernice to turn to burglary once more. She wants Bernice to rob her ex-husband and get her jewels back. He has not allowed her to take the jewels in the divorce. However she has more on her mind than robbery.
