Calcutta News is an Indian film that provides insight into human trafficking in India. A reporter encounters a married couple where the husband is somewhat rude. Then, a short time later, the rude husband is discovered murdered. Through investigating this murder, the reporter enters a world where young virgins are sold to human traffickers. Since the husband died before he could deliver his virgin bride, the human traffickers hunt her down and kidnap her.
