Set in the high seas of the 19th century, Captain Calamity is a swashbuckling adventure movie that follows the journey of Captain Kidd, otherwise known as Captain Dalton (George Houston), and his loyal crew members as they sail the treacherous waters of the Caribbean. Things start to go awry when one of the criminals, a beautiful woman named Freda (Marian Nixon), manages to seduce Dalton and turn him against his own crew.
