Chaarfutiya Chhokare is a Hindi drama-thriller movie from 2014, directed by Manish Harishankar and produced by Sunill Khosla and Vibha Dutta Khosla. The movie is set in a remote village in Bihar, where a group of four young boys, known as chaarfutiya chhokare, roam around in the fields and forests, stealing and killing for their livelihood. Soha Ali Khan, Zakir Hussain, and Seema Biswas play the lead roles in the movie.

The story of the movie revolves around Neha Malini (Soha Ali Khan), a social worker who comes to the village to educate the children about their rights and to stop child trafficking. She meets three of the chaarfutiya chhokare, Ram (Harsh Mayar), Murgi (Aditya Jaiswal), and Najma (Shivani Singh), who are around 10-12 years old, and forms a bond with them. Neha is impressed by their street-smartness, and she ends up hiring them to work on her campaign to spread awareness about child trafficking.

At the same time, a wealthy businessman, Prabhat Singh (Zakir Hussain), is eyeing the land of the village, which is rich in minerals. He wants to buy the land from the villagers at a cheap price and exploit it for his own profit. Prabhat Singh's plans are opposed by the village head, Dayal Singh (Vikram Gokhale), who is a man of principles and wants to protect the land and the people from being exploited.

Dayal Singh's opposition to Prabhat Singh's plans leads to a conflict between them, and Prabhat Singh decides to use the chaarfutiya chhokare as his pawns to eliminate Dayal Singh. He hires a hitman, Dheeraj Pandey (Zakir Hussain in a dual role), to train the chaarfutiya chhokare in the art of killing, and to use them as assassins. Dheeraj Pandey, who is a master of disguise, trains the chaarfutiya chhokare in different ways to kill people, such as using a spade, a rope, a stone, or a stick.

As the story unfolds, the chaarfutiya chhokare get caught up in a web of conspiracy and violence, and Neha, who is trying to bring about a positive change in the village, finds herself in danger. The movie keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, as the story takes unexpected twists and turns, and the tension builds up with every scene.

The performances of the cast are outstanding, especially Harsh Mayar, who plays Ram, the leader of the chaarfutiya chhokare. He delivers a heart-wrenching performance that captures the innocence and the intensity of his character. Soha Ali Khan, Zakir Hussain, and Seema Biswas are also excellent in their respective roles, bringing depth and emotional resonance to the movie.

Chaarfutiya Chhokare is not just an entertaining thriller; it also sheds light on the harsh realities of life in rural India, where poverty, illiteracy, and corruption are rampant. The movie highlights the vulnerability of children who are forced to work and steal for their survival, and the importance of education and awareness to bring about a change in the society. The movie also questions the morality of using children as tools for violence, and the role of power and money in exploiting the weak.

In conclusion, Chaarfutiya Chhokare is a must-watch movie for anyone who loves thrillers with a social message. The movie is gripping, intense, and thought-provoking, and it leaves a lasting impact on the viewers. Manish Harishankar's direction, coupled with the brilliant performances of the cast, makes Chaarfutiya Chhokare a standout movie of the year it was released.
