Watch China's Islam

China’s Islam is a Chinese language documentary that details how Islam originated and evolved in China. This film is part of a six part series on the dominant religions practiced in China. It is framed around the search for China’s first mosque and primarily shows Islam’s presence in the Northwest part of the country. Chinese Muslim architecture, fashion and other art forms are discussed, as well as specific relics from the Fujian province, to show the unique ways its Chinese followers have interpreted this belief system.
