Raj (Salman Khan) belongs to an extremely rich family and is married to Priya (Rani Mukherjee). They are very happy to discover the fact that Priya will soon become the mother of their first child. But their happiness was short lived as Priya suffered a miscarriage. Priya is struggling hard to recover from the aftermath of the miscarriage but every time she tries to do so she goes into deep depression. Raj is in desperate need of some permanent solution to his aching pain. The couple then decides to look for a surrogate mother. Raj meets with Madhu who is a prostitute and in need of money. Madhu agrees to carry and deliver their child. To pursue their plan Raj, Priya and Madhu set out for Switzerland far away from the prying eyes of their family members while Priya remains unaware of the true identity of Madhu. Madhu succeeds to become pregnant and the news is celebrated with great joy amongst Raj and Priya. They also inform their family back in India that Priya once again conceived a child. In the mean time Madhu is being sexually teased by Raj’s business partner and finally she decides to leave. Priya than discovers the true identity of Madhu and she requests her to stay. Madhu decides to stay back and she falls in love with Raj. She later on gets attached to the child in her womb and decides not to surrender the child to Raj and Priya. She leaves the money on her bedroom and sets out for the station. Priya finally manages to get hold of her and bring her back home. At the end Madhu delivers a lovely baby and hands him over to the couple, she decides to leave and promises Raj that she will choose a different life and will never go back to prostitution. Raj and Priya return back to India happily with their new child.
