Watch Clapham Junction
- 1 hr 39 min
Originally made for British television, the film depicts a day and a half in the lives of five homosexual men in a London suburb. The film is set during a summer heat wave, and initially follows the separate lives of its characters. One of them is a student, one is a television writer, one is a delivery driver, and two are a settled couple, preparing for a civil ceremony cementing their relationship. As the plot progresses, viewers learn that the student is the victim of homophobia, the soon to be joined couple isn't all that happy, and that the television writer can't sell a pilot about gay characters as they're now considered "passé". As the movie characters' anger and frustration mounts, some of them are headed for a tragic trajectory.
