A shared fantasy between two schools students is the basis of this musical family movie. A student is disciplined in school for daydreaming. In art class, he creates a sculpture of his super hero fantasy. A girl who does not like him very much has drawn a picture of the same character. These two get together and create a costume to bring their character to life. They discover he will only live for one day unless then can find an enchanted medallion to preserve him.
