Dear Diary is a short film that was released in 1996. The film stars Bebe Neuwirth as a New Yorker and examines a day in the life she lives. The plot is mainly about the small things that occur to Neuwirth's character and how she was able to overcome them. The mood that Neuwirth possessed seem to go from one mood to the next fairly quickly. Although this film was ultimately rejected and considered to be a failure, overall, the plot is very comical and clever. Even though the film was considered to not be good enough for television, the short film went on to win an Oscar.
