This action-drama film centers attention on the leading role, Arumugham, a helpful, kindhearted hick, that cares for everyone despite his misfortune. Arumugham and childhood friend Easwari set out on a journey to Chennai in search of help, after failing to stop a major chemical spill from a nearby factory. Easwari brought her grandmother for guidance. They're positive about seeing the minister in time to prevent the destruction of the village. They succeeded in meeting the minister who agreed to help, but later sent a notorious lady boss and her thugs after the three. They passed the night at Vivek's home where they mingled with friends. He's a long-time friend of Arumugham.
