Dig is a mystery thriller film set in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. The movie follows the story of three friends, Peter (Aaron Himelstein), Liza (Tiffany Brouwer), and Ryan (Adam Fergus), who all have a passion for archaeology and digging up artifacts. Their unconventional hobby is their way of bonding, but it soon leads them down a dangerous path.

Peter is an introverted and awkward college student who spends most of his time participating in online discussions about ancient civilizations. Liza is a charismatic and free-spirited artist who uses her creativity to inspire their digging adventures. Ryan is a former soldier who is haunted by his time in Iraq and sees digging as a way to cope with his PTSD.

Their search for artifacts takes them to a construction site where they discover a hidden chamber. Inside the chamber, they find a mysterious tablet with ancient symbols etched into it. As they try to uncover the meaning of the tablet, they realize that they have stumbled upon something bigger than they ever imagined.

Meanwhile, a group of shady characters including a millionaire playboy named Spencer (Joshua Bitton), a corrupt detective (Tom Fitzpatrick), and an enigmatic woman named Katherine (Bella Dayne) are also interested in the tablet. They will stop at nothing to get their hands on it and will do whatever it takes to keep their secrets buried.

As the three friends dive deeper into the mystery, they become entangled in a web of deceit and danger. They must use their knowledge of archaeology to decipher the clues left behind by the ancient tablet and stay one step ahead of those who will stop at nothing to keep the truth hidden.

Dig is both a thrilling adventure and a cautionary tale about the dangers of curiosity and the pursuit of knowledge. It explores the tension between the old and the new, the past and the present, and the power of history to shape our lives. The movie challenges viewers to consider how much they are willing to risk to uncover the truth and how far they are willing to go to protect it.

Overall, Dig is a thought-provoking and gripping film that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

Dig is a 2011 drama with a runtime of 26 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.4.
