The late Liu Chia Liang was a hereditary 3rd generation disciple of the lengendary Hung Gar kung fu master, Wong Fei Hung. His fight choreography in countless Shaw Bros. films helped to define the genre in Hong Kong Cinema. After choreographing many of director Chang Cheh's most popular kung fu films, he pioneered a comedy genre that preceded Jackie Chan's and differed with an emphasis on showcasing Hung Gar kung fu vs. Chan's stuntwork. In Dirty Ho, Gordon Liu Chia Hui (an adopted brother within the family), portrays an imperial prince who travels incognito and befriends a rogue (Wang Yu). The lovely Kara Hui is a chanteuse whom Liu transforms into a reluctant bodyguard in a hilarious fight scene that epitomizes the comedic martial Liu family style.
