Doses of Horror is a horror anthology movie from 2018 that features four separate stories, each with their own unique brand of terror. These stories are loosely connected by the common thread of drugs, and each tale explores different aspects of this theme. The first story, titled "The Fix," follows a down-on-his-luck drug addict named Kurt (played by Ken Abraham) as he is offered a mysterious new drug by a stranger in a back alley. The drug promises to fix all of Kurt's problems, but as he begins to experience its effects, he realizes that it comes with a heavy price.

The second story, "The Dealer," centers around a ruthless drug dealer named Gomez (played by David Aller) who discovers a new, incredibly potent strain of marijuana. However, as he begins to sell it to his customers, he realizes that the drug has a sinister side effect that none of them could have predicted.

In "The Junkie," the third story, we meet another struggling drug addict named Heather (played by LeeAnne Baker) who realizes too late that the latest batch of heroin she has purchased is anything but normal. As she begins to experience terrifying hallucinations and bizarre physical symptoms, Heather tries desperately to survive and overcome her addiction.

The final story, "The Addict," tells the tale of a married couple (played by Robert Alda and Theresa Lynn) who become addicted to a drug that is meant to help them with their marriage troubles. However, as they sink deeper into their addiction, their relationship begins to unravel and they must face the consequences of their actions.

Throughout these four stories, Doses of Horror explores the dark side of drug use and addiction, while also delivering plenty of scares and disturbing imagery. The film is directed by Hector Cabel, who also co-wrote the script with Joel Martin.

One of the standout aspects of Doses of Horror is its talented cast, which includes a mix of seasoned actors and newcomers. Ken Abraham (who horror fans might recognize from his roles in films like Sorority House Massacre and Dark House) delivers a powerful performance as the tortured Kurt, while LeeAnne Baker (of The Prey fame) shines as the vulnerable and desperate Heather.

The special effects in Doses of Horror are also quite impressive, with plenty of gruesome and unsettling visuals to keep viewers on the edge of their seat. From hallucinations to body horror, the scares in this film are varied and effective.

Despite its focus on drug use, Doses of Horror manages to avoid feeling preachy or heavy-handed. Instead, the film explores the complex and often destructive relationships that people can have with drugs, while also delivering plenty of horror thrills.

Overall, Doses of Horror is a well-made and engaging horror anthology that should be a hit with fans of the genre. With its talented cast, impressive special effects, and emphasis on both scares and substance, this movie is definitely worth a watch.
