The film is centered around a group of older female relatives, who all live together in a large estate in the Northeast. The head of the house, Abigail, has begun to slowly lose her mind. Her cousin Francine would like to remover her from controlling the family's dwindling finances, as Abigail has become prone to irrational spending. A cousin tells Abagail of Francine's plan to remove her authority, and Abigail makes a series of fatal decisions.
