Two lovers are caught in the middle of a drug war. Carla and Jose are deeply in love but they know that every moment they spend together is a huge risk. Carla's family is a sworn enemy of the Cartel for which Jose works. In an attempt to escape, they both flee to Guatemala one night. The Cartel stops Jose and Carla and ties them up. They threaten to kill both of them unless they divulge the secret location of the gold chest. Confused, they begin to learn that the gold chest is a stolen artifact of great magic and value.
