Exit No. 6 is a 2006 Taiwanese romantic drama film directed by Yu-Hsien Lin. It stars Eddie Peng, Ethan Juan, and Ha-na Yoo. The story revolves around three young people - Ouyang, Ming, and Xiaomei - who are struggling to find their place in the world. They are all from small towns and have come to Taipei looking for a better life. Ouyang and Ming are both aspiring musicians who met at a music school, while Xiaomei is a Chinese language student who is trying to learn Mandarin.

The film takes place over the course of one day, as the three characters wander through the streets of Taipei, trying to find their way. Ouyang and Ming are busking, playing their guitars and singing for spare change. Meanwhile, Xiaomei is exploring the city, visiting landmarks and practicing her Mandarin with locals.

As the day goes on, the three characters cross paths and form a tentative friendship. They share their dreams and fears, and try to support each other in the face of the challenges they are facing.

Ouyang is struggling to make ends meet as a musician, and is constantly worried about money. Ming is more carefree, but is struggling with the pressure to make it as a musician. Xiaomei is dealing with the culture shock of living in a big city and is homesick for her family.

Despite their different backgrounds and struggles, the three characters find a common bond through their shared love of music. They start playing together and attracting crowds, and briefly forget about their problems as they lose themselves in the music.

As night falls, the three characters go their separate ways. Ouyang and Ming return to their small apartment, while Xiaomei spends the night in a hostel. The film ends with the three characters standing in different parts of Taipei, all facing uncertain futures but united by their experiences together.
