Lacey Chabert stars in the 2015 feel-good Christmas movie called "Family for Christmas". It's a Hallmark original movie that tells the story of a successful but lonely woman named Hannah Dunbar, played by Chabert, who comes face to face with her past just in time for the holidays. Hannah, a workaholic executive, is forced to return to her hometown in Maine for the first time in years, when her boss schedules her for a business meeting there. What she hopes would be a short visit becomes an extended stay when her flight back to the city is cancelled due to bad weather.

During her time in Maine, Hannah is greeted by the warmth and familiarity of her past. Her parents, played by Audrey Smallman and Steven Culp, are happy to see her and remind her of the simple, wholesome life she left behind. Hannah is also reunited with her high school sweetheart, Sam, played by Tyron Leitso, who is now married with two children.

As the story unfolds, we find out that although Hannah has achieved everything she set out to do, she feels empty and alone. Her work is all-consuming, and she has no real connections outside of it. Being back with her family and rediscovering the joy and camaraderie of her hometown presents Hannah with a unique opportunity to rebuild the relationships she left behind and rediscover what she has been missing in her life.

In the end, Hannah learns that family and friends are the most important things in life, and that the success and material possessions she had attained before paled in comparison. She also discovers that the love she once had with Sam never truly died and, this time around, decides to take a chance on her former flame.

"Family for Christmas" is a heart-warming, family-friendly Christmas movie that reminds us of the importance of love, forgiveness, and the bonds of family. It's a perfect addition to any holiday movie lineup and is likely to leave viewers filled with the spirit of the season.

Directed by Amanda Tapping, the movie holds some important lessons for those who tend to prioritize work over love and family. It is a warm tale that recreates the magic of Christmas and goes on to show how this magic can bring people closer, even when they've grown apart. Overall, a sweet and sincere performance from the cast along with the beautiful setting of snowy Maine makes "Family for Christmas" a memorable and cheerful Christmas movie.
