The television series entitled Transformers: Rescue Bots is all about teaching and instructing little children about dangers and how to stay safe. The series is also known as Rescue Bots by some people. The setting of the series is a town known as Griffin Rock. At the time, Optimus Prime requested for a group of sentient robots to leave space and come to planet Earth for a mission. As a result a team of robots based in Cybertron decided to respond to that request and come to Earth. These robots that left Cybertron to Earth included Boulder, Heatwave, Blades and Chase. They were the only rescue team of robots left in space at the time but still decided to respond to the call. When they get to Earth they realize the best way to achieve their mission is to work in close collaboration with the inhabitants of Earth. They therefore work in close partnership with the Burns family where they worked as a team rescuing humans from natural hazards and disasters. The robots learned to work with humans and enjoyed teamwork. The series was created by Nicole Dubuc, Jeff Kline and Brian Hohfeld. It was produced by Hasbro Studios and Atomic cartoons and had Jeff Cline as executive producer. The 26 episode series was broadcast on channels like Cartoon Network, The Hub, Canal J, Italia, Tele J with each episode airing for 20 minutes. Members of the team include Blades was voiced by Parvesh Cheena, Chase was voiced by D.C. Douglas, Heatwave was voiced by Steve Blum, Boulder was voiced by Imari Williams, Cody Burns, Dani Burns, Chief Charlie Burns who was Chase's partner, Kade Burns who was Heatwave's partner, Axel Frazier, Billy Blastoff, Sawyer Storm, Walker Cleveland, Graham Burns, Doc Greene, Francine Greene. Also starring was the little and smart dog known as Sparkplug. The series was done for one season; however a second season will come up soon as has been announced.
