Forced to Kill is a 1994 action-thriller movie that stars Corey Michael Eubanks, Michael Ironside, and Rance Howard. The film follows the story of a former navy seal named Johnny Red who becomes trapped in a web of deceit after being setup to take the fall for a botched high-level government mission. The movie opens with a scene in which Johnny Red, played by Corey Michael Eubanks, and his team of special forces operatives are assigned to retrieve a diplomat who has been taken hostage by terrorists in a foreign country. The mission goes awry when the team discovers that the diplomat has actually been kidnapped by one of their own, and the ensuing shootout leaves many of Johnny's team members dead.

Back on US soil, Johnny finds himself being pressured to take the blame for the failed mission, which was being secretly orchestrated by a corrupt government official named Jack Paxton, played by Michael Ironside. Johnny becomes a fugitive and must fight to clear his name while evading the authorities and the various hired assassins that Paxton has hired to take him out.

The film's plot is driven by Johnny's desperate attempts to clear his name and uncover the truth behind the failed mission. Meanwhile, Paxton continues to pull strings and manipulate events to keep Johnny on the run and out of reach. As the story progresses, Johnny begins to uncover more about Paxton's true motives and discovers a larger conspiracy that involves high-ranking officials in the government and the military.

One of the film's standout features is its action scenes, which are tense, fast-paced, and full of gunfights, car chases, and hand-to-hand combat. Corey Michael Eubanks, who is also a martial artist and stuntman, brings a lot of physicality and athleticism to his role as Johnny Red, making his character's fight scenes particularly exciting and engaging.

Another strength of the movie is the performances of its supporting cast. Michael Ironside delivers an excellent turn as the movie's main villain, Jack Paxton. His cold, ruthless demeanor and commanding presence make Paxton a formidable adversary for Johnny, and Ironside does an excellent job of playing up the character's sinister side.

Rance Howard, who plays a small role as a retired army general, is also a standout in the movie, bringing a lot of gravitas and well-worn wisdom to his character. His scenes with Eubanks are some of the film's most compelling, and their interactions add a deeper layer of emotional depth to the story.

Overall, Forced to Kill is a solid action-thriller that delivers plenty of suspense, excitement, and entertaining performances. While it may not be the most original or groundbreaking movie in its genre, it more than makes up for its lack of originality with its strong action scenes and a compelling storyline that keeps viewers invested and engaged throughout.

As a side note, it is worth mentioning that Forced to Kill is not a particularly well-known or widely recognized movie, but for fans of 90s-era action movies or those who enjoy a good thriller with a dash of conspiracy, it is definitely worth checking out.

Forced to Kill is a 1994 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 28 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.0.
