"An amazing piece of work!" (Wim Wenders). On the 11th September 2018, a new 'bible' will be delivered. Liam a poet /prophet journeys his work across a post apocalyptic wasteland back to the remnants of civilization. He is intercepted by a warrior and an uneasy alliance forms... This intercuts with the year 1999 where as a young writer Liam's work is influenced by his spiritual mentors, most notably Kurt Cobain! Not since The Who's Tommy has rock opera pushed such limits. Music is by Goya's Child with orchestral pieces by Joseph Douglas. Writen & Directed by Aaron Stevenson (Welcome 2 Wherer U Are - MAD MAX Doco!). Features the outstanding 35mm cinematography of Karl Von Moller (The Long Weekend) and sound design by AFI Award wineer Neil Mc Grath. Freedom Deep is surrounded by current copyright controversy due to the Denzel Washington production The Book of Eli which has very similar themes and concepts....
