Gertrud

Inspired by a work of the early nineteenth written by Hjalmar Söderberg, this film tells the story of a woman who lives with the obsession of finding true love. Gertrud, who became a famous singer, decides to leave her husband and go with her lover. The next day he discovers that she has betrayed him and that prevents the delivery of an absolute love. So the former singer leaves the two and begins a life alone reflecting on how the commitment of love is a simple convention that is not going beyond trying to set a limit that means nothing.
