Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai is a crime film from 1999. The titular Ghost Dog is a black man that considers himself the samurai protector of Louise, a mobster, after Louise saved him years ago. Ghost Dog works has a hitman, while strictly adhering to text of Hagakure, a book about how a samurai should live. Ghost Dog its sent to perform a hit on Handsome Frank, a man sleeping with boss Vargo's daughter. To evade implication, Vargo and company decide to remove Ghost Dog. Threatened, Ghost Dog realizes that he must destroy the entire mob to survive.
