Ghost Overtime is a 2014 Thai horror comedy film directed by Isara Nadee and starring Ananda Everingham and Patty Hokari. The film follows a team of ghost hunters who are hired to investigate a haunted mansion that was once used for illegal abortions, only to find themselves trapped inside the building with vengeful spirits. The main character, Pla (Ananda Everingham), is a former rockstar turned ghost hunter who is hired by a wealthy businessman to investigate a haunted mansion that he recently purchased. Pla and his team, which includes his best friend and cameraman, Tee (Kom Chauncheun), a psychic medium, Kao (Porntip Papanai), and a scientist, Nat (Chaleumpol Tikumpornteerawong), arrive at the mansion and begin their investigation.
The team soon discovers that the mansion was once used for illegal abortions, and the spirits of the unborn children are still haunting the place. Pla and his team are forced to confront these vengeful spirits head-on, using their skills and equipment to capture evidence of paranormal activity.
As the investigation progresses, Pla begins to experience strange visions that seem to be connected to the spirits in the mansion. He discovers that he has a personal connection to the building and the spirits, and he must confront his own past in order to find a way to help the spirits find peace.
Throughout the film, there are a number of jump scares and tense moments as the team explores the mansion and encounters the ghosts. However, the film also has a comedic side, with moments of humor interspersed throughout the horror.
One of the standout performances in Ghost Overtime comes from Patty Hokari, who plays the ghost of a young girl who was killed in the mansion. Hokari's performance is chilling and unsettling, and she is able to convey a sense of malevolence and anger without ever speaking a word.
Overall, Ghost Overtime is an entertaining and well-made horror film that will appeal to fans of the genre. The film has a strong cast, solid special effects, and a well-paced plot that keeps the audience engaged from start to finish. While it may not be the most original horror film out there, it is a great example of how to blend scares and humor to create a fun and compelling experience.
