The new challenge for Maindrian's team is to steal the Eleanor from a candy-apple red Shelby Mustang that is owned by a wealthy businessman in town. The task seems impossible, and they only have a few hours to do this before the deadline. Thus begins a high-speed car chase through downtown LA, in which Maindrian and his team try every trick in the book to outwit the police and the businessman's security team to steal the Eleanor. The chase includes numerous crashes, explosions, and heart-stopping moments as the team tries to outrun the police and steal the car.

The climax of the movie is the unforgettable 40-minute car chase through several Southern Californian cities, including Long Beach, Carson, and San Pedro.
