The movie Graffiti Bridge is a rock music film with a dramatic storyline. It was written, and directed by the musician Prince. This movie was a sequel to one of his previous works. The movie also features appearances by George Clinton, Tevin Campbell, and Morris Day. The storyline of this movie follows a character known as The Kid. He is now a performer and owns a club. The club is called the Glam Slam. Morris who was once his rival is now co-owner of the club. The club got into a little bit of trouble and Kid has no choice but to pay Morris ten thousand dollars to stay out of trouble. Morris in return has to use that money to pay off the mayor so the club can remain open. This allows Kid to keep his co-ownership instead of being forced to part with it. The Kid notices the club is starting to lose clients. He has ideas on how to revive it but Morris does not agree. Morris wants to play popular music. This is what he feels that people want to hear and will come to the club for. The Kid feels differently. He wants to be able to play spiritual funk music. The Kid challenges Morris to a performance showdown. The winner gets full ownership of the club. A song is written by the Kid that changed the outcome of the movie. This song was writtne by the heart and performed with a lot of emotion. The Kid composed a very well received song and in the end Morris allows him to keep the club and do business as he sees fit. Morris walked away from the business and had no hard feelings towards The Kid.
