The movie Grayeagle is a western movie. This movie is set in the year 1849. At this time the Montana Territory is starting to get settled. John Coulter lives out on these plains with his daughter named Beth and a good friend of his named Standing Bear. Standing Bear is a Native American. The movie tells both points of view from the settlers and the Native Americans that live on this land. Beth is kidnapped by a Native American named Grayeagle. He is from the Cheyenne nation. The chief of this tribe has Beth brought to him. John and Standing Bear work together in their quest to find Beth and bring her home. They go through several different adventures that threaten their own survival.

The movie stars Ben Johnson, Iron Eyes Code, and Lana Wood.
