Tom is a teen living in a rough part of London. Tom struggles to make ends meet. However, with the help of his best friend Danny, he is able to get him a new phone. Danny also encourages Tom to go after his longtime friend Lucy who lives nearby. Lucy ends up asking Tom to help her study for exams to which he happily agrees. When Tom arrives as Lucy's, he stumbles upon an awful scene. There are masked thugs there, who have rendered Lucy's brother unconscious and Lucy who has been attacked. Tom is able to call the police, but in the process Tom is shot. He wakes up days later. His doctor informs him that there is shrapnel from his phone is embedded in his brain. As the day goes on, Tom starts to hear phone transmissions and he can visualize digital signals. His new abilities allow him to find the men who had attacked Lucy and begins to take them down.

iBoy is a 2017 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 31 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.9 and a MetaScore of 50.
