A battle rages on between forces of good and evil when we sleep. The good forces offer thoughts of courage and hope while evil forces, known as the Ink, bring nightmares of fear to our dreams. When a father discovers that his daughter is taken by the Ink, he must not only discover this world but also a means to save her from it.
