Jesus Lopez, a young racing driver, dies in an accident, leaving his village in mourning. His cousin Abel gradually takes his place, moving in with Jesus' parents and reigniting old relationships. After a while, the resemblance starts to get somewhat unsettling. When a car race in homage to Jesus is organized in the village, Abel becomes possessed by his cousin's spirit and drives his car.
