Watch Key

During an autopsy of a suicide victim, a forensic pathologist finds a key in the person's stomach. The pathologist develops a relationship with the suicide victim's daughter and begins to ask her questions about how much she knows about her father and whether she has been to his home since she found out about his death. An increasing web of ciphers and symbols surrounds the strange case and there are more questions than answers popping up everywhere. A design keeps on popping up in the dead man's drawings and why he repeatedly and obsessively repeats the same image is unclear. It seems that it must mean or stand for something, but what?

Trapped by his obsession, the pathologist goes deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole as he dangerously goes over the abyss to solve the mystery of the key. Things are really not as they seem and do the dead really stay dead? Everything is somehow linked to the mysterious key and the tantalizing answers it opens the door to.

Key is a 2011 thriller with a runtime of 1 hour and 27 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.5.
