Everything about John Camp's life is broken. He is living in poverty, his apartment is a mess, and his girlfriend Jenny finally decides to dump him and find a better man. When he hits rock bottom, he decides to spend his last dollars and grab a drink at the local pub. As chance would have it, he runs into an old college friend. Chad is doing well and has a new experimental drug with him that he claims has changed his life. He offers John a handful for free. Once John has tried it, his life is altered in eternal ways.
