This romantic comedy focuses on the life of Los Angeles weatherman Harris K. Telemacher, who drifts along without meaning in his life, his career, or his relationship with superficial girlfriend Trudi, until he magically meets a fascinating journalist from London during a luncheon. A mysterious message flashing from a freeway sign urges Harris to make changes in his life. But his pursuit of journalist Sara is complicated by her ex-husband and Harris' budding relationship with a girl young enough to be his daughter.
