Watch Lommbock

Lommbock is a hilarious German stoner comedy film released in 2017, directed by Christian Zübert and starring Moritz Bleibtreu as Stefan, Dar Salim as Kai, and Thomas Binder as Andreas. It is a sequel to the 2001 cult classic film Lammbock. The movie is about two old friends, Stefan and Kai, who reunite after 15 years when Stefan returns to his hometown of Würzburg from Dubai with his girlfriend Yasemin (played by Mavie Hörbiger). Stefan and Kai used to run a successful pizza delivery service called Lammbock and were known to smoke a lot of weed while working. They decide to meet up again and reminisce about old times, but soon they find themselves getting into new, hilarious trouble.

Stefan has moved on from his life of smoking weed and now runs a successful fast food chain called "McWeed" in Dubai. He has come back to Würzburg to sell his share of Lammbock to Kai, who has taken over the business and renamed it to Lommbock. Kai has continued to smoke weed as he did in the past and even grows his own plants in his apartment. He is thrilled to see Stefan again and excited to get back together with him. However, he soon realizes that Stefan has become a boring suit, and the two reminisce over missed opportunities and bad decisions.

The two friends start smoking weed again and start a series of wild adventures that are as funny as they are absurd. Stefan and Kai help Andreas, a former rival of theirs, come up with a plan to win back his ex-girlfriend, who he believes is now a drug dealer. They enlist the help of Yasemin and their old friend Frank (played by Lucas Gregorowicz), who is now a successful lawyer but is going through a mid-life crisis.

The movie is full of comical moments as Stefan and Kai try to relive their youth and get into ridiculous hijinks. Their personalities and lifestyles clash as they try to break out of their mundane lives, and they are soon mixed up in situations they never thought they could be in. Meanwhile, Kai's girlfriend Anna (played by Alexandra Neldel) is pregnant, and they are trying to keep the baby a secret from Kai's mother, who is a strict Catholic.

The film also explores themes of friendship, nostalgia, and growing up. It portrays the struggles of two friends who are trying to relive their glory days and come to terms with their present lives.
