Lost Bullet is a French action movie released in 2020 that revolves around the story of an ex-convict named Lino (Alban Lenoir) who has a knack for fixing cars. After serving his prison term, Lino uses his talent to work as an auto mechanic and live a peaceful life. However, his past catches up with him, and he gets involved in a dangerous situation while trying to save his little brother.

The movie begins with a thrilling car chase scene, where a gangster named Quentin (Nicolas Duvauchelle) tries to escape the police with the help of his gang members. Quentin is a notorious auto thief, and the police have been chasing him for a long time. During the chase, Quentin's car gets damaged, and he abandons it in a garage where Lino works.

Lino discovers Quentin's car and starts repairing it without realizing that it belongs to a wanted criminal. When the police raid the garage and find the car, Lino is mistaken as Quentin's accomplice and is taken into police custody. The only person who believes Lino's innocence is his former colleague and police officer Charas (Ramzy Bedia). Charas, who knows Lino's potential and past, decides to help him prove his innocence.

Lino's prime objective is to find Quentin's lost bullet, which could prove his innocence. Quentin, who was involved in a hit and run accident, hid the bullet in his car before abandoning it. Lino and Charas have only 24 hours to find the bullet before Quentin's gang members kill them.

The movie has a fast-paced narrative, keeping viewers engaged with its multiple high-octane action sequences. The film's director uses fast cuts, swooping camera movements, and intense sound effects to heighten the tension between the characters, leaving little breathing room for the audience. The car chases and explosions that occur throughout the movie are executed with precision, adding to the film's authenticity.

The film's three principal performers do an excellent job, creating a chemistry that carries the narrative forward. Alban Lenoir, who portrays Lino, skillfully balances between the character's strength and vulnerability, giving his character a realistic feel. Nicolas Duvauchelle, portraying the antagonist Quentin, brings a menacing quality to his character. Ramzy Bedia offers witty and humorous reprieve throughout the movie, playing the role of police officer Charas.

The movie uses its setting of an industrial city to its advantage, showing a realistic portrayal of the working-class environment. The intricate details of the garages, the abandoned buildings, and the gritty backdrops give a sense of a city that lives and breathes alongside the film's characters, making it an evocative and immersive experience.

Lost Bullet is an exciting action movie that is well-directed, well-acted, and enjoyable to watch. The movie has a unique storyline that offers a fresh take on a classic action-thriller, which keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. With exhilarating car chases, pulse-pounding action sequences, and a heart-pumping score, Lost Bullet is a must-watch for moviegoers who love to see great action films.

Lost Bullet is a 2020 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 32 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.3 and a MetaScore of 78.
